I know you're supposed to use low heat and add a bit of salt. But I'm not sure about a few things.. do you scramble the egg inside a bowl? or just dump it in the pan and start shaking things around?

If you scramble it inside a bowl, do you shake things around or just leave it so the bottom part cooks and you can get a bit of an "egg sheet"?

Scrabbled eggs = frying pan + batter of eggs

Um..I just put the eggs in a bowl, scramble well with a fork, add a bit of milk and salt, then cook in a pan.

I believe if you use salt in the cooking process it makes the egg harder. I usually use about 1/3 milk scramble it in the bowl and use med to low temp this makes the egg nice and fluffy

I do it in the microwave :p

Probably nicer in a pan, but too much effort for me.

This is the chinese version, so it might be not what you are looking for.

1.) Take eggs and beat them until they are a unifom color in a bowl, add salt.
2.) Add oil to a wok (if you are using one) or a frying pan.
3.) Heat oil to high temperature.
4.) Add the beaten eggs.
5.) Move them around.
6.) Take them out just before they are done. (The cooking process will continue after you plate the eggs)
7.) Season to your liking.

That's not scrambled eggs.. That's beaten eggs.

To scramble eggs, I use medium heat, and I let a sheet form, then mix it up.

Don't beat your eggs before putting in the skillet to cook. Just put some butter in the pan, melt it, crack couple eggs in the pan, spinkle some salt and pepper. Then start mixing them slowly. until they are the consistancy you like.

If you beat them before then they get to fluffy, save that for if you want an omellet

What happens if you don't use milk and salt, how does that affect the outcome of the eggs?

I find that they come out way better when I cook them in the microwave instead of in a frying pan. It's faster too.

I like to beat the eggs in a bowl, and mix in a bit of milk, water (makes the eggs less watery!), salt, pepper, worschishire (sp) sauce, tobasco, and some Salad Supreme seasoning. Then I just pour it in the skillet and wait for them to start to solidify, then start mixing it up.

Four egg whites, one egg yoke, a dash of milk or water, a dash of salt, a dash of pepper, scramble in a bowl with a fork. Add a little butter to a skillet warmed over medium or medium high heat. Once butter is melted, throw the egg mixture in, and cook, stiring occassionally so the eggs dont burn on the bottom.

You stir in your pans with a fork? I'd kill anyone who stirred something in one of my pans with a fork!

Nothing if you like chewy bacon. I like mine nice and crispy and that can only be accomplished to my satisfaction in a nice iron skillet.

Only non-teflon coated pans. If it's coated I use a wooden spatula.
