Not easily. They can be popped off easier than replaced. Each tablet has a cross-hinged clip under it that requires dexterity. The best way to clean a notebook keyboard is with a good vacuum and a narrow crevice attachment.
All stuff is loose to start with or it wouldn't fall into the keyboard.🙂 The tablets are the tops of the keys with the letters printed on them. Also called keycaps. A blast of compressed dry air from a can can loosen sticky things - but a vacuum removes - blowing just moves it somewhere else.
Well, when i say NOT loose i'm talking about dirt and oil buildup that seems to be "stuck" on top of the keys as well as along side the keys, and i do wash my hands before using my notebook actually and no i don't eat when using it or anything like that.
