Best way to clean a laptop screen?

i've got a compaq presario 1700t, and I dont want to just go and spray it with a typical window cleaning spray (like windex or whatever) because, well, i've never delt with that type of screen before... it appears as though there are a few thumb/fingerprints on it, and a bunch of dust... whats the best way to clean it?

This stuff called Klear Screen is what I use. Works on laptops, LCD's, CRT's, TV, whatever. Works real well, too. I found mine at Fry's.

I use a product called onestep. its basically alchohol on soft tissues. Works well BUT it did manage to take all the paint on my "intel inside: P3 sticker. 🙁

It's not rocket science - no need for fancy chemistry...

Just make yourself a mild mix of soapy water and put it into an empty spray bottle - wipe off with clean dry cloth.

It's always worked for me.
