If you have another drive that can hold the info, do a google search for cloning software. Acronis makes a good one, but there are others.

EaseUS Todo Backup Free works very well, and, as the name indicates, it's free. They give you the option not to participate in their community (i.e. not to receive spam from them)

Cloning your drive is more than a backup. If the clone drive is the same physical size (desktop or laptop) and form factor (SATA or PATA) as your original drive, and your original drive fails, the cloned drive plugs in and runs without requiring anything to be re-installed. The software also allows you to create a bootable recovery CD that can restore the clone to a new drive
In your case, if the repair facility wipes your drive, you can either pop in the clone drive (and immediately clone it for safety) or boot to the recovery CD and restore your cloned installation to the new or wiped drive.
