Sorry, wasn't sure where to post this. Please move to Off Topic, thanks.

Currently with RBC, not very happy with them and get rewards points that are useless, after 4 years with it I have accumulated 23,000 points = $23 = nothing considering how much I used it.

I would prefer something that is like 1% cash back on purchases but open to any card. I would need to be able to do online banking, not sure if they all do that. I spend less than $10,000 /year on my visa (maybe $6,000) on car insurance, gas, cell phone, internet, groceries, beer & misc...

Know of the best offers in Ontario? Any difference in getting a VISA versus a Master Card? Which banks do you prefer / recommend staying away from? Thanks!

Try Redflagdeals.. you'll get a ton more useful info there.

I use the Citi Driver's Edge, 2% cash back towards a car.. but I'm grandfathered: New customers pay $59/yr fee

Pretty sure the CIBC Dividend 2% is a premium card. The 1% is a bit of a rip though. The first $800, you get 0.25% back, then from then to $2500 (?) it's 0.50%, then after that it's finally a grand 1%.

The Shoppers Optimum was the best out there until they discontinued it last year.

Mastercard from PC Financial is one of the best cause you get about 1% by using the points for groceries. Some places don't accept Mastercard, but some don't accept VISA (Timmie's, wtf?), so it kind of balances out.
