No, his folks sued the a-hole kids who leaked it. The website that hosts it now has actually been pretty supportive of the guy, (Ghysain, I think that's what he goes by) and even ran a petition to get him in Episode 3. Sure, it looks pretty dorky by itself, but so would most Star Wars fight scenes before ILM got to 'em. I've seen some remakes with added special effects and whatnot; except for the fact that the kid's a weeeeeeee bit on the fat side his "fighting" is about as good as any other youngling in the past two films.
 
theres a better version of that numa numa vid out there, someone from Here IIRC made it with his video club in HS i think, it was great
