Doh, I forgot MOH series. Well, not the entire series. MOH:AA was the last good one. It was downhill from there.

Yep. I've purchased them all, but aside from MOHAA, ended up returning the others since they paled in comparison.

Oh, and I forgot to mention Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Civilization is probably the best series ever. No game in that has ever disapointed me.

Now that I got that off my chest, there is a tie for the rest.

Killer Instinct 1 = Best fighting game ever
Link to the Past = Best adventure game EVER
Counter Strike = Best FPS on PC
Goldeneye = Best NON ONLINE FPS on a console.
Halo 2 = Best ONLINE FPS on a console
Mario 64 = Best platformer.

that about sums up my feelings 😀

 
Fav of all time... probably Total Annihilation and the Core Contingency expansion. I still have over 1 GB of 3rd party units, maps and AI's for it! Good times. Honerable mention to Diablo 2, which wasted a good portion of my life.
