Best video editing software?

Just bought my first mini DV camcorder(Samsung SCD103) and am looking for the best software for transfering the video to PC to be burnt to DVD. Would like something that will allow me to edit,add extra stuff,ect and most important easy to use and easy to burn to DVD.

Final Cut Pro...If you've got a couple thousand lying around.

Ulead is nice, stable and has an intuitive interface. Avoid Pinnacle.
