only ONE currently AVAILABLE choice: Radeon 9800Pro (and it can be had for ~$150 occasionally - on sale).

If you can wait a couple of months, there should be LOTS of choices (6600/X700) that'll be marginally to much better than the 9800p. ;)

Would be interesting to see where the 6600s released recently would place against the 9800Pros. Wonder why we haven't seen any reviews of them?

look in Hot Deals . . . J&R had one for $155 shipped . . . NewEgg has refurbs for that price.

To CLARIFY an earlier comment i made: some versions of the 6600 and the x700 barely beat the 9800p . . . the faster ones will 'trounce' it . . . don't grab the first 6600/x700 you see. ;)

edit: LOOK at Pricewatch . . . GameVE.com has a 9800p (128MB/256bit) for $151 (edit: NO, it's 128bit)
(do i need to link for you also):p

2nd Edit;: there ARE reviews of the x700 cxomparing to the 6600 AND the 9800p (and XT) in Anand's OWN review. Somebody isn't "keeping UP". :p
