It's that time again when I need to get a new phone from Verizon. Fortunately my contract just expired so I can get a new phone, but other lines on the plan still have a contract so I must still stay with Verizon.
My old phone was a LG Env2, which at the time had the best battery life with a 21 day standby time and was among the top rated Verizon phones for reception.
In actuality, I was able to get 7-8 days out of it on one charge with a couple hours of total talk time. This was unfortunately reduced to 2-3 days max due to very poor reception at work (the only service with this issue) which rapidly drained the battery.
So I am looking for a very basic phone that I can count on to work well for calling and work for a very long time on one charge. If there is one that is less prone to draining the battery when there is no service I would like to know about it.

This phone on phonescoop seems to be the leader on battery life, which I can only hope, will surpass the life of my Env2, but I have not been able to find any good reviews of it.
Also, if you can suggest any good sites with reviews focusing on battery life and reception please point me to them.
Thanks.
