Best Value Router I can buy and Flash with dd-wrt

Well question is as per the title and is dd-wrt any good anyway as I haven't used it?

dd-wrt rocks. you can run it on a pc even. it is however buggy and memory leaks.

so get a router with 128meg or more of ram for heavy torrent users 😉

You know I didn't even know Routers had RAM lol - never really looked in to them that deeply outside of the functions that come on any individual one.

You got any recommendations - Not to worried about it being the best as its only home use but would like to get near enough best value for money.

I have an Asus RT-N12 running dd-wrt that has been working well.

I will second ASUS routers for budget and DD-WRT.

However, I really prefer Tomato over DD-WRT.

I am currently using the ASUS WL-520gU and got it for a steal. It has been rock solid from day one on my network. They go on sale fairly often, so if you aren't in a hurry, there are great deals to be had.
