Hey guy's Im just about to build my new system. So far I have an X800XL and a Modsteam 450. The host motherboard will be a Chaintech VNF4Ultra. I plan to add a Venice 3200 and 1gig of Value memory. Now I don't want to spend over 90 dollars. I've heard of Geil, Crucial, Corsair, and OCZ Value memory that has been ok. Which should I get? I want some decent dual channel that can be overclocked a little and nice to accompany the venice on the chaintech VNF4Ultra. Obviously, this being value I am not expecting amazing overclocks, just something that allows the cpu to be oc'd abit. THanks much.

Cosair VS pretty much blows when you can buy Twinmos UTT for 20 dollars more ($100).

UTT is pretty much Bh-5 and are the same chips used in the OCZ VX memory modules.

They do 2-2-2-5 @ 240-270 fsb.

The only drawback is that they need around 3.4V pumped through them.

Either way, they will run 2-2-2-5 at 2.8V I suppose.

2-2-2-5 at 180 fsb would probably beat 2.5-3-3 at 200 fsb.

Twinmos - TwinMOS DDR400 / M.tec DDR400 / Twinmos Speed Premium 3200 and 3500

These all use UTT, I believe the Mushkin uses the BP pcb.

Just take it up a notch and get some OCZ Platinum Revision 2, hehe I just ordered a gig of that, seems like really hot ram. Out of your price range though.
