I have a turtle beach santa cruz card, and I'm desperately looking for 5.1 speaker setup that will allow me to view DVD movies on computer. (on monitor or TV with tv-out) But my budget is strictly limited to $150 or under.

Dolby digital decoding is not necessary although I don't think it would hurt to have them..
I've heard about Logitech 4.1 speakers, but I don't want a loud speaker..I need clear sound for music and DVD and good positioning for 5.1 set up although I don't play games :) (yet..)

I've read some reviews on www.3dsoundsurge.com and I was very impressed with polk audio's amr-130 but unfortunetly I can't get it from where I live (Australia) nor I can find Monsoon MH 505. Videologic Digitheater LC and Midiland S4 7100 Plus is out of my reach..
Yamaha TSS-1 is old and discontinued..

The best bet is hercules XPS 510 which is around $75 or Creative's Inspire 5300 around $150. (at least here..)
Is there any other set I can try?

From the reviews I've read, the Logitech Z560's arent' just loud, but sound very good as well. I went to my local Best Buy and auditioned the Z540's and Z560's, both sets sound great. Think I'm gonna pick up the 40's, can get them for $60 on the net. :)

i suggest you goto your local compUSA to test them out. they have nearly every kind of comp speakers on display. including the z560s, klipsch 2.1, 4.1, 5.1 and the inspire 5300. hear the diiference yourself, cause i trust my own ears before anybody elses.
