Best Vacation Destination ?

My family is going on vacation to ANYWHERE in the world. We just need to decide on a place. My parents want to go to Hawaii (again), but they also would like to go someplace different. The people going are Me (19), Sister (21), Her fiance (24), Dad (40something), Mom (40 something).

We were thinking about Australia, but that is a long flight. We have already been to Cancun, and we really liked it.

There has to be somewhat of a shopping place (to satisfy the women), and us guys like visual stuff like the Mayan ruins, and the Sisteen Chapel type stuff (once in a lifetime type stuff).

Could you guys please tell me your favorite vacation, or where you have heard was a great place to go. Remember, ANYWHERE in the world (well, except hostile countries).

Cuba. Can't beat the value of an all inclusive week at a 5 star hotel for $800CDN/person.


But since you're american, I'd say Europe is a good choice.
 
How long a vacation are we talking about here?

I liked all the places we went to in Europe, but I would now like to see a country/culture that is not western. Tibet has always fascinated me, as has Thailand and Indonesia.
 
10-14 days vacation.

Who has been to Europe? Did you like it? I mean like Greece, and the Sisteen Chapel, and such.....

I heard that it is dirty, and the people are assholes over there...
