+1 on the Ford Fusion. It's a pretty good car with really good low used prices.


Another vote for the Fusion. I just rented one in Phoenix for a few days and IMHO it drives/rides better than my wife's Honda or my Lexus.

+1 on the fusion, or a Mazda6 of the same lineage since they're basically the same car. The Mazda6 will be a bit more sporty but they both have the same engines.

The Fusion is wider, longer and taller than the 6 (first gen), and has more interior space. Keep that in mind if you cross shop them. Both excellent cars.

Id probably go with a new Sonata.. they are, as stated, an unreal value. And they're nice cars too.
