I'm looking to get rid of my 2001 miata. I want 4 doors and a metal roof above me.

I've been considering this cars:

2003-2007 Accord Sedan V6

Infinity G35 sedan

Lexus GS300
Lexus IS300

BMW 325i with sports package

BMW 330i


any other cars to consider? or the best that has been mentioned?
 
G35 Sedan is a pretty good choice. VQ motor is shared with less-expensive Nissan brethren, and has been a decently reliable vehicle for most.

Cheaper to maintain, lower cost of entry (can get lower miles for the $$) = Maxima, but FWD is not as fun.
 
Are you needing to move people comfortably on long trips? If so mark the IS300 off your list. The GS would be better suited for this. A more sporty ride out of the two is definitely the IS. The GS/IS share the same engine (2JZ inline-6) and are rock solid. Compared to the other cars on your list these two are a little underpowered though.

Don't get me wrong, I love my IS and drive it daily. Its been a great car and I would have a very difficult time letting it go. Just depending on what you are looking for really. I'd say it is comparable to a BMW 3 series ALMOST. It didn't quite make it to that bar but it tried so hard!
