Best Under $20 Wax

If you like Meguiars NXT then you will love Meguiars #80 Synthetic Sealant. It's basically NXT on steroids because it's more durable and deeper shine.

Haven't tried Ice, but I love the regular Turtle Wax paste. Workout + tan + shiny car all in one 😀

Probably not the best but I just waxed my car with Meguiars Gold Class this weekend and pretty happy with the results. Not too bad for $10.

I've been using NXT Tech wax, but the water stopped beading in certain spots after a few months. It does give a beautiful wet look. I think I'm gonna go for some P21S Carnauba next time.

fa sho.

Turtlewax is crap made for uninformed consumers.

Or for people who don't base their self-worth on the "quality" of shininess of their car..

I used tons of different waxes: Zymol, Klasse, etc. They all shine but never last very long. I started using Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra Gloss. It last longer than any wax i've ever used. It even gets good ratings from the link in CorCentral's post.

I too use Meguiar's NXT. I wouldn't try the ICE stuff, I heard it's runny like oil almost; the ICE car wash soap and quick detailer spray are great though, I use both regularly.

I've found turtlewax's Platinum to work really well. I tried using the ice, and it just didn't seem to work as well. Was alot lower on the labor front, but wasn't as smooth.
