I find Keith Olbermann to very refreshing and nonbiased.

Please tell me this is sarcasm. Keith Olberman couldn't be more to the Left if he tried!

LOL, I was thinking the same thing.
I don't watch him that much (or any News Channel) but when I've seen him it's usually him bashing President Bush, O'Riely and Fox which doesn't necessarily make him Far Left, just correct. Of course like I said I don't watch him that much so I could be unaware of his leftist leanings.

Just like when OReilly bashes him it doesnt make OReilly far right, just correct.
Except O'Reilly refises to use his name, he's kind of like the Bill Parcels and tabloid TV.

Youre statement shows me two things. One, you watch OReilly and 2. you probably think because of that (which is false BTW) that makes OReilly wrong.

/wave sheep!

No such thing. All information sources are biased to some extent or another.
Compile your information from as many reliable sources as possible and then form your own opinions. Be careful not to get bogged down in information though, as most of it is irrelevancies intended to distract you.

CNN as a whole is very biased and they tend to only report the most absurd and redicuous subjects. They sometimes have these messages they post from people. They only post the most polarized messages. No normal responses are ever posted. So they misrepresent the truth all the time. This is basically how network news works. If the news fits their agenda or they think it will cause conraversy then they post it or release it. As long as it does not make Hillary (The Golden Child) Clinton look bad.

I like to look at news on CNN. I just look at it knowing they are basically full of baloney. It is like Shawn Hannity. He has an interesting show, but sometimes it feels like a conservative love-fest.

I get better news from my local Conservative channel.
Jamie Almond and Crane morning Show
Shawn Hannity
Micheal Savage - This guy is just a radical who answers to no one. Actually, I think he is the smartest man ever to have a radio show. In his early years he was a botanist who was searching to find a cure for cancer. If a host like this manages to agitate both liberals and conservatives maybe he has some basic truth they do not want you to hear.
Dave Glover Show Slapstick Humor
?
Hmm That Mormon Guy. This guy is more of a commedian than a conservative. I wonder if it is possible to be a Conservative Commedian. Answer = Yes.
Other Conservatives/comedians.

I dont find any liberal shows worth listening to.

Still have to use a filter to block out the baloney from the left or right.

I dont mind people that find stuff wrong about the president, but please leave your hate at the door.

Cool, so you go to news sources that are admittingly Conservative for your unbiased news

You can't really find "unbiased" news, but I find a lot less crap on NPR, BBC, and The Economist than I do on CNN - and forget about Fox News, I won't touch anything from those scumbags.

I occasionally watch the O'Reilly plus I learned about him not using Olbermans name from the Stern Show. I think O'Reilly is a pompous blowhard who thinks too much of himself and his so-called influence. I mean give me a break, the perv has the audacity to wirte books for children telling them how to behave and for their parents on how to raise them. I wonder if he has chapters in those books about leaving sexually explicit phone messages to subordinate co-workers?

If you have the time and resources to be a full time newshawk, you could scour the internet, hang out at the newsstand and watch tv all day. But nobody wants to do that, so we choose those people in the media who impress us for whatever reason: experience, political point of view, sex appeal, etc.

What I am interested in is where the news gathering and reporting sources are trending towards. Cellphones, pocket cameras and camcorders are enabling eyewitnesses to be the source for breaking news events.

Commentators interpreting the news will always be around to spin the stories.

You're implying that there is something wrong with leaving sexually explicit phone messages to subordinate co-workers. Stop with all this PC crap, Folks. It's the liberal-left's secular anti-Christian agenda springing up again. Pretty soon men won't be able to look at a woman without being slapped by a frivolous lawsuit from some ambulance chaser like John Edwards. Then they will be telling us to have gay sex because of their homo agenda and accuse good, honest Christians like Larry Craig of being gay because he taps his foot in a restroom. Stop the insanity! Stop the liberals! Listen, Folks. We only have one shot in this life before we're judged. And the Judeo-Christian founding fathers would not want us to turn our backs on our beliefs like this nut-job Red Dawn insists. Cut his mike.

Amen.

We have to 'nip' those commie-pinko secular humanists in the balls.

Of course you're unaware, because you're far-left yourself.

Step back and take an objective look...

I don't think there is an "unbiased" news source. They all have leanings one way or the other. Some are more "Centrist" than others, but the bias remains.

IMO, it's a bit much to call Red "far left" but I too wonder how someone could not see olby's bias even with infrequent viewing. It's like someone infrequently watching oreilly but not seeing his bias.

Far Left?? Just because I think Bush and the war in Iraq is a disaster and that you're an antagonistic shill and troll doesn't make me far left, actually it makes me Right.

Step back and take an objective look...
Like I said, I don't watch Olberman enough to gather whether he's far left or not, just that he thinks O'Reilly is a hypocritical blowhard (he's correct) and that our President is incompetent (he's correct there too)

Yeah I assumed it was sarcasm but read the follow up posts and just thought WOW.

Olbermann is non-bias as hitler was a friend of the Jews.

None of the follow up post stated that he was unbiased Godwin.

Well, I'll say it basically - in the Olbermann I've seen, I don't see bias, I see opinion that's reasonable in response to the garbage.

What SHOULD he say to corruption - it'd be bias for him not to criticize it. The problem is when some people HERE who are biased see the truth, they think the truth is biased.

You don't really see them deal with facts - in all the posts on Olbermann, there's not one single post making any general case he's wrong a lot - not even a single factual criticism raised. I get tired of seeing the ideologues get away with calling such people, who we need telling the truth, 'biased', when they're the problem, not Olbermann. The fact that Olbermann makes a buck by doing it in a marketable way doesn't detract from the accuracy of his message.
