If you want something that's SUPER light and small, then Sony Vaio T or TX series, or Fujitsu P

....if you want something that's a LOT more powerful and still retains a small size and light weight, check out the Sony S series. I have tried LOTS of laptops and I think the Sony S series is the best combination of size and performance.

Asus Z33A.
Get it at JNCS.com.
Specs:
Weight: 2.8 lbs.
Processor: Up to 2Ghz Pentium-M Sonoma
RAM: Up to 768MB DDR2-400
Graphics: Intel integrated
HDD: Up to 100GB
Wireless: Integrated
Internal CD burner/DVD-ROM drive (note: DVD burner might be availible)
Battery life: 2 hours, but it goes up to six with the jumbo battery upgrade.
Price: About 2500$ with WinXP Pro, everything maxed out, the extended battery, and a three-year warrranty.
I know someone who bought one, and they're wonderful laptops.

I personally own a HP NC4010. Cost me 750$. Nice laptop for the money.

X60 has been announced. It should be available in a few weeks. I own a X41, and the only down side is the slow hard-drive. IF you cna live with that, then your laptop will be the envy of others.

What do need the laptop to have? If you want a built in optical drive, reasonably sized keyboard, or a touchpad, that narrows things down a bit.

The Toshiba Libretto is one to consider. Very small.
