I guess I would have to go with Babylon 5 for serious drama/sci-fi and for the ultimate sitcom...Growing Pains! Every other line was utterly hilarious on this show, perfectly casted. This wasn't a Canadian show, was it? I never seem to hear much about it anymore to indicate it was shown all over.

Black Adder was great as well. It's Rowan Atkinson in his pre-Mr. Bean role.

Anyone remember a show back in the early 80's somthing like Wizards and Warriors? It had the blond from Newhart in it.

Dennil: you ever heard Katy Sagal (Peg Bundy) sing? Awsome voice!
 
As you may be able to tell from my sig, I love The Simpsons.
Since I've watched ESPN SportsCenter a few hundred thousand times, I gotta put that in there too.
Other sitcoms: Cheers, Frasier, Night Court, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond
Also: Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and of course Dragonball Z, the non-censored subtitled versions are the best!

animated goes to a show called tale spin. Not sure if anyone remembers that cartoon, but it beats simpsons imo.
 
Knight Rider and Married...With Children. Too bad both are discontinued now!!! =(

Simpsons, Sienfeld, and Friends are also enjoyable to watch...Has anyone watched Relic Hunter?? That's a good show..(not only because of Tia Carrera..but in general it's entertaining)


 
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, the cartoon show. That was great. I used to watch that every Saturday, and if I missed it I'd record it.

As far as live action goes, I gotta go with Married - its longevity and its ability to offend just about anyone out there made it great. Also, can't forget about the Three Stooges - even thought its old as hell, there's no way you can't laugh =)
 
Babylon 5.

What other show could retain such a cult following after being bounced around so much?
My wife and I used to get up at 2:30 AM on Tuesday mornings to watch it.

If you haven't watched it, you owe it to yourself. It begins this fall on SciFi network. Season 1 is honestly not as good as 2-4, and 5 tapers off. But give it a chance and when you get a few episodes into season 2, you will be hooked.

I think I'm go home right now and watch a few taped episodes.
