Best tips to keep my CPU under 51C...

Hi there

I am running an Athlon 1.4Ghz @ 1.6Ghz using 1.95V. The CPU is rock solid stable at this setting, just so long as I keep it at 51C or under (this is the reading given by my IWill KK266). I have:

Thermalright SK6 + Delta 7000rpm fan (ASII applied)
Lian Li PC-60 stock fans (2x80mm front, 1x80mm rear, Adda 31CFM I think)
Enermax PSU with dual fans

If the room is nice and cool it's not a problem. As long as the CPU temp hovers around 48-51C there is no problem. But above that it becomes unstable. System temp is around 27-30C.

I was thinking of

a) just replacing the rear fan with a more powerful Sunon one (which I already have), leaving the front fans as they are (will this make for an unbalanced airflow?)
b) removing the front fan dust filter to improve airflow for the front fans
OR c) replacing all 3 fans with the Thermaltake ones (or similiar?)

Any other ideas to shave about 2C off my CPU temp? I do not want to cut my case btw, and I want to keep it closed :)

Thanks

Seeko is right, an intake fan, blowing over your CPU will give good results, I even have a little duct from the fan to direct the air onto the HSF.
This setup reduced my temps by several degrees.

You guys might be comfortable with cutting holes in you cases but I am not. It is not a step I want to resort to at this time.

Well then, how about installing higher CFM front intake fans to increase the amount of cooler air going in.
