Best thin ethernet mp3 server?

I've been looking at thin ethernet mp3 servers. These are devices that ethernet
to your computer and act as an MP3 server to your stereo. They have an LCD screen
to help navigation, a remote, etc...

There appear to be three competitors:

Rio: This one has been discontinued. It was available cheaply from Tiger Direct about
a half year ago (can't recall how much).

Turtle Beac AudioTron

SlimMP3

From what I can tell, the SlimMP3 has been getting the most raves. It's made by a small
company and costs $250. (Not available anywhere but the company, so no discounts). The
AudioTron runs about the same price. Can't really price the Rio as it's not readily available
any more.

Anyone care to comment on these devices, in terms of usability and sound quality?

The audiotron has gotten good reviews, I think even by Sound & Vision. Biggest flaw seemed that it took awhile to synch with your server PC and build a database of songs.

I thought of getting one myself but decided a PC with TV-out might be better since I can use any software I want, use wifi (-b or -a), use other audio formats if I feel like it, etc. Eventually I'll get around to picking the parts and building it (might go with the new Shuttle SB51 with intel motherboard).

With the forthcoming nForce2-based Shuttle, I'd rather build an HTPC with TiVo-like capabilities and can play MP3s on the side.

I already have a nice, compact PC to use for this (HP e-PC). BUT I don't particularly want
a regular sized monitor in my stereo rack. Nor do I want to have to use my TV to navigate.
The nice thing about the ethernet MP3 servers is that they have small LCD displays that
can be used to navigate.
