I don't get the continued love for AS5 - maybe 10 years ago it was the best, but that was a long time ago now.

It has a number of problems:
1) not the easiest to apply.
2) it's conductive so got to be careful with it.
3) it has a long cure time.
4) in keeping with all silver pastes it will degrade over time so you really need to re-apply it every year or two.

Something like MX-2 or 4 has none of those problems, and it cools better.
