Depends on what you classify as "Techno".
Real techno is made by people such as: Jeff mills, Laurent Garnier, Umek, Advent, Dj Rush, Marco Carolla, Gaetek, Dave Clarke, Dave Angel,
Kooky Scientist, Oliver Ho, Richie Hawtin, My GOD I can go on forever.
Most there are producers and Deejays.
Many people have mentioned alot of Mainsteam producers that produce mostly breakbeat/acid stuff.
Depends on what kind of "techno" you want.
You can get VERY deep with different kinds of electronic music.
