Walnuts and pecans. Almonds are not far behind. Then BBQ roasted peanuts. Then cashews.

Oh, and cashews and peanuts are both legumes and aren't real nuts.

Roasted salted pistachios. Costco sells them in bulk (2 pounds? 5? for pistachios, that's bulk) and they're good quality.

I just want to point out that 2-5 pounds is not bulk.

My favorites in order:

Almonds - especially cinnamon sugar, chocolate covered, or smoked
Pecans - Wife's grandparents have a pecan tree. They are amazing
Walnuts - good stuff
Peanuts - the Plantars kettle peanuts are fantastic
Pistachios - non-red ones

now I'm hungry. 🙁

Hazelnuts. Almost all of the hazelnuts grown in the US are grown in northwestern Oregon, not far from where I live. We often call them filberts here in Oregon.

DOH

is it bad that I searched the page for Deez, as well as 'mine' and there multiple instances of both already.

I'll go with peanuts or coconut.

Cashews and Pistachios also.

Almonds are up there. I love peanuts, but meh. I would rank sunflower seeds above peanuts.

Filberts are pretty good, but get another solid meh as far as just eating raw.

Hmm which nut is the best, that is one tough decision. Think I'll go with cashews, though honey roasted peanuts score very close too.
