Best Super Mid Tower Case?

Fear No Evil

Currently got a full sized Lian Li case that is a bit too big for my needs now and also has 80mm fans which are too loud and pull too little air for me. Looking for a new case that is probably a bit smaller than a full tower but big enough to handle big video cards and several hard drives. I think the Super Mid's may be OK.

Any suggestions? I want something with 120mm fans and no 'bling'.. I don't need lights and neon all over. 🙂 4 external 5.25" bays would be nice but 3 would work. Good airflow is really my primary concern and the ability to fit large video cards and CPU heatsinks.

MOD EDIT: There is an entire forum for Cases & Cooling. Who would'a thought... - Zap

How about the CoolerMaster HAF922? I used it for my first build and there was plenty of room for everything including the snarl of wiring from the non-modular Corsair TX750 PSU. Lots of airflow (comes stock w/2x 200mm, 1x 120mm fans) and plenty of room for board add-ons.

The HAF 922 definitely has a blinged out front fan though. :awe:

The cases lehtv suggested are good. Also add the Fractal Design R3 to the mix. It is a little more toward the quiet side of the quietness<--->airflow spectrum, but it's still a good performer.

It isn't difficult to substitute a non-illuminated fan, provided the fan's dimensions aren't nonstandard (e.g. Corsair 600T).
