Hey all

I was wondering what recommendations you have as far as the best sub that can be obtained for ~350 USD shipped to Buffalo.

Infinity SW12 Was something I was looking at but that is 400USD shipped
 
eD A2-300 is $350 on the dot with free shipping. 12", 250w RMS, -3dB at 18Hz and it weighs 72lbs! It's generally the most recommended sub in that price range at AVS Forums. I've had mine for a few months and have been pleased with it.

Couple possible downsides:
1) It takes around a month to get them because they build them as orders come in.
2) The stock "Odye" finish is a black sandpaper-like truckbed liner type material. Some people like it, some don't. It costs $35 extra to get the smoother matte finish.

eD makes a brilliant sub for the $$. Plus I got to give a shout out to my fellow native Iowan's. (so what if I live in IL now...I'm still a Hawkeye at heart)
 
I think most consider the Bic Acoustech H-100 the best sub under $400. Its becoming a little harder to find, but you can still get it on eBay for $279 shipped. I have one and can confirm it is quite nice.
 
Most now consider the eD to be the best subwoofer performance wise below 450$. At the 450$ price range, it ties with the SVS PB-10.
 
You might consider trolling CL for a while - I bought a used SVS 20-39 for about 50% off retail, still under warranty, AFAIK.
