The thing I don't like 'bout Starcraft (and other games like it) is that I spend all this time building up a killer military and then *poof* the mission is over and I have to start freakin' scratch again. All my hardwork for nothing. 😉

That's why I prefer Shogun (plus I hate micromanagement and resource gathering). You start the game and it's completely opened ended. The game ends when you either take over Japan or you get taken over. Plus you can control up to 1,500 or 2,000 troops during the battles! It's pretty sweet seeing 4 or 5 thousand sprites duking it out in real time. 😀
