Looking for a new strategy game. Sonething like the tycoon games, age of empires, Warcraft III?

I have played alot of them but figure I missed a lot too.

I also like AoM

isn't CnC Generals almost out too? it's supposed to be totally 3D this time with a totally new building/fighting system to it
 
Never played the command and conquer games but generals looks sweet and comes out early i think the 12th of next month. I usually play just fps online cept for yahoo and pogo games. Although I was hooked on Diablo 2 and PSO besides my sports/fps addicitions.
 
MOO3 when it comes out. MOO2 for now, Alpha Centari, the Civ 3 Play the world. Human opponents are much harder then the comp

it kinda sucked when they required u finish the game at 2050, i was waiting for all my nukes to build and trying to annihilate every other civ!!!
 
If you ask again in a couple of months, hopefully the answer will be Master of Orion III. 😉

It's more tactical than strategy, but Freedom Force is great, particularly for folks who like the superhero genre.

You can probably find jewel-case editions of Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Alien Crossfire pretty cheaply now, too.
 
Warrior Kings: Battles

the original warrior kings had some bugs and other issues, but was a terriffic game that actually involved real strategy, 3d terrain, variety of units and such....no skirmish 🙁

anyway, if they clean it up with this new game, it will seriously rule, my fav part is the battles with hundreds of individual units, gonna shoot for a thousand next time i can get my brother over here

anyway...best strategy game ive ever played, hoping the Battles version will clean it up and itll be popular as it ought to be

You know you can keep playing after that... the scoring just ends then...
 
Shogun: Total War. execelent strategy/tatical game based in feudal Japan. All you have to do is take over the country. 🙂
