Keep in mind it doesn't have Youtube support without a hack added to it.

The next version of Windows Mobile is supposed to fix that though.

Switch to a real cell provider that carries mainstream phones. Palm should be dead already and HTC just doesn't get it.

I don't have Sprint, but if I did, I'd be waiting for the Palm Pre!

With AT&T, I use the HTC Fuze (Touch Pro 2).

i like my Sprint Touch
Only problem I've encoundtered is the battery cover falls off rather easily. So long as your not sliding it in and out of your pocket you are fine but i dont wear a phone holster so i sometimes seem to leave the battery behind in my pocket.

I have the Curve because I need a BB for work. The HTC phones are nice though.

Touch Pro. is better than the Diamond. Once you have a Touch Pro., go to the PPCGeeks forum and install a custom ROM by MightMike.

true, i think the only difference is the slide out keyboard and the memory card slot...
but i prefer htc diamond because it makes it impossible to text while driving.

is the battery life a little better?

I've really liked my htc touch. I've had it for over a year now with no issues. I do have a custom rom installed on it though.

I like the Touch Pro but only after I found custom rom's on the ppcgeeks forum. Out of the box it was slow, call volume was low, and wasn't really impressed.

I would have returned it if it wasn't for the custom rom's.

I haven't used a Diamond, but my Touch Pro. has gotten me through 12 hour shifts at work w/o needing a charge. Battery did go down to around 3% though at the end.

You text while driving? The Touch Pro. has a soft input panel just like the Diamond so you don't have to slide it open whenever you need to type something. Both have the same size screen and resolution as well.

I used to be a fan of Palm's device, but after owning all of the Treos available on Sprint (from the 650 to the Treo Pro.), I've decided that it's not a good idea to purchase a first generation Palm product.
