Best sound in a game...ever!?

i am partial to the gun operation sounds in MOH:AA. very crisp and realistic sounding.

also the saber sounds in JK and JK2 really get me goin!
 
IMHO Thief 1/2 have hads down the most realistic and vibrant audio I've ever heard in a computer game.
 
I like MOHAA's sounds too, very nice sounding. I think Half-life has some ok sounds, but its implementation of 3D sound is awful. (EAX and A3D)
 
MOHAA had some of the best sounds ever


I can listen to that rifle fire and crack across the landscape all day long
