I graduate in 6 months with a degree in computer science. I recently had a series of interviews with a well-known large software company, the only one I applied to, but in the end they chose to go another way. I'm a little disappointed, but at the same time, encouraged that the one big company I applied to expressed a good deal of interest.

So with that said, what companies would you guys recommend applying to? I'm putting in apps to Adobe, Amazon, Apple, Sony, Sun, Cisco, IBM, Expedia, Yahoo, Google..any others? I am keeping my options open to smaller companies too, and already have some offers, but want to fully explore what's available to me before making a decision.

Thanks

When they were a nobody next door to us, they forced us to remove one of our basketball goals that was in the parking lot. They would always play on it when we weren't around and would bounce the ball into EVP's and SVP's cars and leave dents and stuff.

Sigh...come to think of it - back then there were always really hot girls walking in and out of their building as well. Then they blew up big and moved a little further down the road.

From what I hear, Google is one of the best companies to work for anywhere. No one can compete with the benefits they offer. Free daycare, lunch from made by primo chef.
Oh yeah, stock options. Those rock too....
