so i have a k8v se deluxe taht i'm trying to sell now bc i'm not liking it much....
so if i was to buy a new mobo , and i don't need the 'deluxe' set of features, which one would you guys recommend?

msi k8n neo, DFI's 250....etc. etc

and i guess i'm lookin at a ~100 price range

i've directly compared the msi k8n neo and the abit nf8... and the abit nf8 is the better buy overall!

whatever you do - DONT get the MSI k8n neo

it displays the wrong temps - even with a bios update (they are off a bit)

That's not a very good reason not to buy a motherboard.

Im running abits kv8 max 3 haven't had any problems with it other then bios needed flashing and the north bridge fans are junk.

You could get one of the $70-80 ones like the Chaintech, newegg users are pretty happy with it and it comes with a good feature set.

Great price-performer-features as long as heavy overclocking isn't the purpose. Even that is doable but it requires a hw volt mod.

Yep, my K8AN2E-GR is really nice. My only gripe is that it only has 2 of the possible 4 NV SATA ports on it. And it's now only $85 at NewEgg.com, it was $89 for the longest time.

I'd go with the DFI if OCing or Soltek if just doing a mild OC, both of those seem like excellent boards.
