I dont quite remember it well, but it was Phil Hartman, something about a car with a ride smooth enough for a rabbi to circumsize a child in the backseat of.
What a horrible thing to have happen :D
Not to mention in the back of a car driving over rocks and boulders.

<< I always enjoyed one of the older commercials poking fun at the US Navy: "It's not just a job, it's $96.78 a week."

I guess my other favorite was for "Swill, everything you wanted in a mineral water...And More."

What do you think are/were the best SNL Commercial Parodies?

You got my favorite on the second line: "Deep from the depths of Lake Erie"

That was from i think the first or second year.

<< Does anyone remember the car commercial with Phil Hartman, I think they were making fun of Lexus. They rolled a ball-bearing down the seam of the hood and it rolls into a rusty hole (hah). The car was complete sh!t on the outside to prevent theft, but inside it was completely loaded with luxury. Pretty funny. >>

that car was called the Cameleon. it was luxury inside the car but the outside looked like crap so no one would steal it.

i love that one and the one with the car called "Uranus". where who ever was in the parody commercial was like, "touch Uranus...feeeellllll Uranus" LOL!

Balls Be Gone.
Wife "Honey, isn`t Thursday your poker night?"
Husband "Ah, that`s just an excuse to drink beer and talk about women. I`d rather stay home with you."

In Regular and new Italian strength.

"Swill, water that's dredged from Lake Erie. You thought European countries only had mineral water but let me tell you we bottle some impressive mineral water right here in America. That's right America, water with a taste all of it's own." ;)

Yea, that one was just awesome!. The script was spot-on and Hartman, (as usual) delivered it perfectly."the interior is filled with the luxury appointments you've come to expect but the simulated transmission leak and missing hub-caps say "it's not worth the trouble". Also done by PH was the "Adobe" car made from clay that could be repaired from collision by re-forming the fenders, ect. It's so sad that all this comedy gold is guarded by NBC like a hawk, you will find little of it anywhere. Generations will come and go and never know how great Belushi+Ackroid really were.
