Off the top of my head, I was thinking of the Asus p3v4x. But there's also the good old BE62, and possible the somewhat new Abit SH6. I just need a motherboard that can run a high FSB stably. I would probably knock out all BX boards cause I don't want to run my AGP that high. but i haven't really heard much about the SH6 so i'd probably want to avoid being a test dummy for it.

what do you guys thing?
 
MSI bx master best bx board i ever owned, infact its so good i didnt sell it on my last upgrade to a tbird system i keep't it, its just to good to ever sell
 
I went thru the same Dilemma when upgrade time came... except it was about my SY-6BA+IV
it was just so good i did not want to sell it altho i'd probably never use it again, well, I ended up selling it.. but yeah, it is in my opinion from what I have seen the best overclocking slot 1 mobo! even better to get the +100 model, they are the same 'cept for the ATA controller I think. (Never used a +100). Rock solid, reliable, fast mobo.. I loved it alot, you would too I'm sure..

 
yes the 6ba+ boards where killer bx boards i had a 6ba+3 for about a year
it was a very stable board i replaced it with the msi bx master
 
hmm...i forgot about the BX blaster. 😱 the only thing about the BX boards is that it doesn't officially support 133fsb...thus no 1/2 agp divider 🙁 thats why i may be looking into the p3v4x
 
ooooohh...compuwiz1 nominated the BX master! My...maybe there's more to the BX master than i thought. is this board capable of handling 150+fsb speeds stably?
 
I've had mine maxed at 155MHz, with a PIII 700E @ 1085, 1.85v, and running a CL TNT2 Ultra AGP Card. If you've got the right gear, ram, video card, etc, they will work. Beyond that, you still have the same limitations you do with any other BX board.
 
I don't know how well a P3V4X will work for OC. I have a stock (Not OC) PIII 450 on a P3V4x and under a load (Diablo 2 or even running Norton AV)the CPU temp goes up to 68+ (centigrade). My case is a 7237 wih a 300w PS and the stock fans.
 
The P3V4X rocks! It's a great board. I have one for sale if you're interested in the FS/FT board. 🙂

I might be bias, either beacuse I used the board for over a year with all fc-pga chips or because I'm selling it.
