Best Simplified CAD software?

Hey everyone:

What do you think the best Simplified CAD software is? My wife is looking for something to do some house layout designs and wants something very simple. If you've ever tried Total Home 3D, then a lot like that, but STABLE. Total Home 3D is the most crash prone program I've ever seen, BUT the interface is nice and straightforward (too bad about the stability, really).

She finds Punch Software items to be too involved for what she wants to do (she basically wants a drag-n-drop interface.

same here, need to do some plumbing/electrical designs and take them down to get my permit - figure CAD would be the best way to do that
