Best Silent PC Case?

Hello,

I haven't done a silent high end build in years and I was wondering what are currently the best computer cases made with silence in mind while still being able to use more noisy high end part, like say, a pair of 1080 Ti.

My last silent build was done 6 years ago with an Antec P280. I still love that case but seeing it's 6 years old, I'm sure better cases have been introduced to the market.

Price isn't really an issue but I'd be happy to see suggestions for every price range.

Last, I'm not asking you to do all the research for me as I'll reads reviews for all the suggestions I might receive. No need to post long reply, I'm really just looking for some suggestions.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help me.

EDIT: I forgot to add, it needs to have enough room for big components like a Noctua NH-D15 or very long video cards.

Seems to be difficult to find any reviews comparing any of them to my old P280... Which is my baseline for a good silent case, for me at least. Any of you owned one before and can tell me how it compares to the Fractal Design one ?

What about the bequiet Dark Base 900? I know, expensive, but worth it?

Even with silent cases, I've learned that you have to meet the case halfway. It starts with silent components... A highly efficient power supply so there's less heat as waste. Quality VGA coolers (water or air) can drastically drop temps and be much quieter. etc, etc.

But for the case, I also have the Fractal Design Define R5

Yep, don't worry, I'll be using(and have been using in the past) silent parts in the build like the Noctua D15, SeaSonic SSR-750TD and currently trying to figure out what's the most silent GTX 1080.

Thanks for your replies everyone. It's been so long since I've built something quiet. I'll definitely keep Fractal Design in mind seeing how you all recommend them. The reviews are pretty good too.

Be quiet dark base cases are highly modular on inside plus very silent.

I have Be quiet Darkbase 900 pro(silver) and only when i set my case fans too max i hear them, but they are not too loud on minimum they are silent

I also like to add more low RPM fans if possible. Take a look at the Thermaltake Suppressor 31. It can mount 10 120mm fans plus has sound damping on the side and front panels. Add some quality fans running at 600 to 800 rpm and you got a cool and quiet case.
