friday night lights doesn't have a chance. friday night time-slots generally mean "well, your ratings suck, but let's see if we can drag you out painfully for a little bit while you all get your resumes in order."

I'm just hoping Gossip Girl doesn't get cancelled... I need my Kristen Bell fix 😛

That is pretty much teh kiss of death, but damnit, that show is too good not to be watched.

Edit: I didn't even know it was moved to Friday now. That just sucks.

I won't be able to handle life without Minka Kelly.

who dare you mention SP and FG without also naming Futurama?

I liked heroes, futurama, a couple of seasons of Family guy and a of SP. don't watch that much else.

I think it'd be worse if he mentioned Simpsons over Futurama. Simpsons may be more of an icon, but Futurama is better.

I can't really mention a top show, because I enjoy watching a few shows... the shows that I've been watching lately (or will be when they come (back) on):

Heroes
Shark
Dexter
House, M.D.
Californication

I'll probably be checking out:

Last season of 24 did it in for me. I will never watch it again. I watched all the others but they've irrevocably killed themselves in my eyes. 24 is dead to me now. Fvck them for that season.

99% of the time my TV is on The History Channel.
 
I watch too much TV as it is to add ANOTHER show to the mix . . .

Best shows, IMO, are Heroes, Supernatural, Prison Break, and Jericho.

 
I'll admit... I love football themed movies and shows (like FNL the movie, and Playmakers for example), but I absolutely hated this show. I tried really hard to like it, but every game that Dillon won came by some lucky play, which isn't realistic at all. Also, while Minka Kelly is gorgeous, her character made me want to scratch my eyes out. She's annoying as hell and her constant troubles with Jason were annoying at best and a snooze fest at worst.

The main reason why I don't like it is because it flaunts itself as football TV show, but it's more of a teen "OC-like" drama, which isn't my cup of tea.

Another nail in the FNL column... a large viewerbase is alienated. Those who regularly attend high school football games on friday or play in them, now cannot watch the show because of NBC's idiotic move to put it on friday. It will kill the ratings even more, even especially since Friday is the death slot. It was a brain head move.

That said, I'll probably still watch it because it'll give me something to watch, but I couldn't care less if it gets canceled.

FNL may not be for you. It's what insiders call "good."

Sorry, I wouldn't take the "I'm better than you because you like show 'x' and I don't" route, but Jericho is the one show I'd do that for. That is an awful show.

Perhaps you should mock Skoorb, as well then. 😉

The first few episodes were meh, but it improved greatly as the season went along.
