Best Sega Genesis games

I'm about to get my GP2X handheld system (look them up... awesome!) They just came out, and tons of people are working on emulators right now. So far the only emu that runs 100% perfect with sound on 99% of games is DrMD, which plays Genesis/Mega Drive games. So I wanted to remember all the best games so I can be sure and get them. So far I remember these:

Comix Zone, Altered Beast, Sonic (all of them!), Golden Axe 1/2, Shining Force, Streets of Rage series, Street Fighter 2 special champion edition...

I'm sure I'm forgetting some classics though. Back then I wasn't really into RPG or RTS games, so I don't remember those much, but would like some now.

Oooohhh memories! NBA live 95 is awesome (but won't quite be the same playing 1 player with nobody to yell at). I spend a TON of time trying to beat the original Spiderman, that's a great one. Shining Force II? I don't remember that at all... but I'm sure it's good!

The best game on the Genesis is easily Gunstar Heroes by Treasure. If it were remembered more frequently, it would likely be in the top 5 list of side scrolling shooters on all systems.

Klax was strangely addicting too. I have a lot of favorites. Man I miss them. Thank god for the genesis emulator for my PSP! :)

Gunstar Heroes is easily the coolest game on Genesis.

Streets of Rage 1 and 2 (skip 3..its not bad..but the music is just horrendous)
Revenge of Shinobi
Shinobi 3
Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mania
Aladdin
Golden Axe
Batman
The Adventures of Batman & Robin (not a good game but technically the most impressive 16bit game I've ever seen..warping, scaling, rotation..effects you never see on the genesis)
Castlevania Bloodlines
Contra: Hard Corps
Dragon's Fury (my personal favorite console pinball game..based of the Turboduo game Devils Crush)
Thunder Force 3
Thunder Force 4 (Lightening Force)
Gauntlet 4 (4 players FTW!)
Gunstar Heroes
MUSHA (excellent verticle shooter)
Mega Turrican
Rocket Knight Adventure
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (my personal favorite Sonic game)
Splatterhouse 2 and 3
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (pretty much a remix of TMNT: Turtles in Time)
Toy Story
Tiny Toon Adventures
Animaniacs
Zombies Ate My Neighbors

..plenty more to choose from!

I believe it got rated the #1 genesis game in a huge egm special edition years ago.
