Best s939 Waterblock nowadays?

Looking to get an s939 waterblock. Anyone have links to current reviews/comparisons for recent waterblocks and/or recommendations?

Thanks!

Blocks by Swiftech are quite good. Their Apogee line is very respectable, and affordable, they just introduced another that is a little pricier, but supposedly better, the name escapes my memory for the moment though...

The PolarFlo CPU block is really good, though maybe not as good as the maze4 (dangerden) and storm (swiftech). I use it, and I've never had load temps higher than 42 with any OC and voltage. I know that the Apogee is really good too, but all these blocks (except maybe the storm, it's a little better at the sacrifice of flow, so it limits GPU blocks and other stuff) are within 5 degrees of each other, all things being equal. What pump do you have, or going to get? Are you going to water any other components?

It's an Eheim 1250a pump - will be looking to cool cpu and at least 1 vid card down the road (as it will likely be a while before I can afford sli).

Thanks for the replies so far!

If you're thinking about that pump, see this review.http://www.overclockers.com/articles723/ I'm not bashing your pump, just giving you something to think about. I found a site that says it has 3/4" intake and 1/2" outtake? This is not meant to be inside the case, and will require adapters. If you will be cooling stuff other than the CPU, forget the storm block, as it will take a lot out of the flow.

This isn't air cooling...there aren't that many blocks out there to choose from.

I'd say go with either a Danderden TDX or Swiftech Apogee or Storm.

DD TDX, Swiftech Apogee, xtremeaqua mp05 are probably the best that are currently out.

if you can still find the mcw6002's, they're discontined but some store still have them. They are cheaper than all the other blocks and performs better than the tdx.

Thanks for the info 🙂 The pump, it's own individual power supply, radiator, and reservoir are in an external enclosure to my case and will just have tubing running from it to the waterblock(s).

Thanks to those who are commenting about the Dangerden and Swiftech Apogee/Storm blocks. I'll focus my review checking with them!

stick with the swiftech apogee for one of the best block with the lowest flow rates.. if you're going to cool 2 blocks then it would be best to get the apogee and gpu block with ur eheim 1250.

If you're taking off the ihs, the best one you can get is the storm. If you're gonna leave it on, then they're all gonna be about the same.
