best rig for PPD/watt? CPU? GPU?

Just wondering, since my F@H quad-GPU rig caused my electrical bill to skyrocket (from $60/mo to $180/mo). Maybe I'm being penny-wise but pound-foolish, since the rig didn't cost too much to build (under $800), but it's costing me multiple times that if I run it 24x7 all year around.

Does anyone have any idea on the best (cheapest to run) crunchers for F@H? Something that could be run 24x7, but not cost me an arm and a leg?

(I could just put the F@H box at my mom's apt, she doesn't pay for electric. But that would be too easy.)

Edit: That $180/mo includes a 12000BTU AC running 24x7 @ 70F too. And we had some hot months here near Boston. So the AC may be the main contributor towards my costs, I'll have to run the F@H box in the winter months to figure that out.

A GTX460 would get you ~10k ppd for about 150W.

An EVGA SR-2 w/dual 6 core Xeon @ 4GHz would get ~100k ppd for about 400W. Initial outlay is a little high though.
