Best Reservoir

I originally posted this in CPUs and Overclocking.....don't know why...it seemed right at the time....

Here's the errantly placed post.

I've been away for a while. My watercooling project got put on hold while I indulged my other hobby of performance cars. My car needed my attention and my money.

A few months ago I was planning on getting a Swiftech MCRES-Micro. Does anyone have any other advice on quality reservoirs. Preferably one that can be mounted either internally or directly to my Eheim 1048 pump. I'm getting rid of my Zalman Reserator which has only been used as a reservoir and extra passive cooling. My whole system is setup on g1/8 fittings, but it looks like I'll replace all those with g1/4. I'm not big into tweeking for performance, but no sense having some of the fittings one size and some others bottlenecked at another size.

I have a microres. It's pretty nice with a good sized footprint for jamming it anywhere in your case.

Didn't take long to bleed my system either with it, just ran my computer for about 30 min.

next time jeff, ask a mod to help you move the thread. :T

I was trying to get one to move your other one in cpu over here, but i didnt have time to PM one.

And the new ones are in training so we have no power as of right now.

Anyhow....

Reread your original thread.

The best performance for a DDC is the XSPC res / top combo. The best D5 is a mix, however i like the micro because it works really well, and does a good job at it.
