I was replacing my batteries in my camera and I have 1600's not 1800's and they last forever, I use them on my minolta Z1 and they fill up my 256mb with plenty of power left, it doesn't matter wether I have the lcd and flash on or off the batteries just keep going and going...

If you want readily available high capacity rechargeables, Walmart has the Energizer NiMH for around $9/ 4pack, $17/8 pack. Their capacities are now up to 2300 mAH (up from 2100). I use these batteries with anything, from digital cams, film cameras (on motordrives), flash, etc... The hold as good a charge as any similar capacity NiMH (and they usually get a little better after a couple of charges).
