Yep. The show died imo when they killed off that black guy (was it him or the fat guy that died?).

I think the black guy was the only one who made it to the end of all the series.
Wade went first or second, so did the proefssor I think, then Quinn, then Rembrant probably.
I thought the first 2 or so seasons were good, then it went to pot.

It was the fat guy (Arturo). IIRC the only remaining original cast member when the series ended was Cleavant Derricks (the black guy).

It's a real shame the series deteriorated so rapidly when it could easily have been really good. 🙁
