Best Ram

The Dual Channel Myth. There is no such thing as a Kit of Matched Ram. Modules come off the assembly line in an unknown order and are randomly picked for installation in a motherboard, if that board posts then they call it a Matched Pair Kit. You can save some money and get the same results if just buy any two dimms at the same time, and yes it will POST nearly 100% of the time.

Standard Crucial ram, it is good for overclocking. But two of these should work well. Kits are a marketing gimmick and are not necessary for dual channel operation. Companies want you to believe that dual channel will only work if you buy memory in their kits, but that is not true. As long as the modules are the same model from the same maker they do not need to be "Matched".

Ok thanks for the tips guys. I bought two 512 sticks of that corsar value select ram once and they wont work together. I want to get some high quality stuff this time. I will probably be doing a bit of overclocking also.
