What is the best RAID mb for the AMD side of things ?

KT266a or KT333 ?

Highpoint or Promise controllers ?

highpoint, promise, and AMI are all very very comparable as far as features and performance

one thing to keep in mind if you want to run raid 1+0 or 1... some boards have these features disabled


so you should check the mobo's web site to make sure it supports the raid features you want
