I can't stand these two. I really really have issues with their stupidity and the several seconds of silence that seems to happen a lot between news pieces or celebrity news.
They make me me mad just typing this!!!
I do like bob and tom. Their "laugh at everything" can be annoying but at least they usually have a comedian guest in the morning.
Stern svcks. He got his @ss kicked here when he launched his show. His idea of funny was making fun of our local DJ's disabled child.

...or Boortz. I don't listen to much morning radio anymore, but when I did it was all talk radio.
My favorite is still Howard Stern, but when he has some lame singer/band on, I can't take it. And the vast majority are truly lame.
Bob and Tom are ok, depends on what they are doing, but they yuck and yuck at anything slightly funny like they have lost their minds.
There used to be a local guy who was good, but over time, he became more and more conservative, he started being on the side of the
police, even when they did something wrong to someone, he always thought they "probably deserved it". One of the local PDs got caught
red handed (due to traffic heard on the scanner) going after some balack guy who commited the horrible crime of waiting in their town
for his ride, and not being intimidated when they asked him what he was doing on the corner, standing there. After he basically told them
to go away, the call went out, and they kicked his ass and arrested him on some nonsense charge. The town paid him lots of money later
on to settle his lawsuit. Eventually, the guy on the radio announced he had found god, and just kind of faded away, ratings wise. He's now
on a local AM station and not doing well at all. He's trying to be a conservative shock jock and he doesn't have the smarts to pull it off.

its a toss up for me:
o&a and morning edition.
but i never listen to o&a during their live run. i usually wait until its replayed later in the day. my commute isnt long enough to get to anything interesting.

Recent example: "Jim Jameson's(John Johnson's) Vocabulary Bulder Upper"... must have heard that every day for 2 weeks at one point.
Local: Drew and Mike (101.1 WRIF)... I don't like everything about them...but from what I've found on local radio I like them the most.
Also, on occaision I will listen to NPR.... depends on my mood.
What seems to be increasingly difficult to find on the radio in the morning is music.

Well I only noticed one Detroit station in the whole bunch of posts, so I'll throw my 2 cents in now to go for 89X(88.7 CIMX) www.89xradio.com 9am 22 song X-block, 22 songs no commercials and yes I'm a major fan :thumbsup: It's all modern rock, alt, etc. (Oh and the station is in Windsor, Canada, yet another good thing our neighbors to the north have given us!)
Or if I'm driving up to school or to see the girl and I have to drive through Detroit and its rush hour I'll turn on AM950 for the 'every 10 minute traffic updates that are so important during rush hour so I dont get angry and go GTA style on somebody
