The Hangover was my first thought. Mainly because I didn't know any of the actors very well so I didn't have any thoughts of what it'd be like. It was god damned hysterical the entire way through.

others in the running:
Life of Brian
40 year old virgin
Pineapple Express (I think that's R and I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet)

As far as PG-13 goes I'd side with Dumb and Dumber every time. It's a nearly flawless comedy that will stay funny forever. I also have fond memories of Austin Powers which I believe is PG13.

Mental... So in America you can show tits in a PG but on TV you can't and you can't say fuck. That is a crazy system you've got right there.
I'm 100% in agreement. Crazy crazy crazy. 😱 :awe: :hmm: Plus you can't say "tits" or "wise and beautiful woman" or "piss" on the air if it refers to relieving yourself. They're bananas over here.

Really?! Because it's based on drinking it gets an 18 over there?!

Why wouldn't it be rated R?

-Drug use (whole movie is based on tripping off of roofie)
-Liberal use of fuck (PC13 allows only once or twice?)
-Nudity (brief nipple of Heather Graham & stripper pictures at end of movie)

Crazy! That's heading backwards...!
Yup! You got it. The 70s' leniency can be attributed to the influence of the "hippies" but from the mid 70's on the trend went "south." Uptight motherfuckers have clamped down and the ACLU etc. haven't been able to stem the tide. :'(

Badder Santa (the one I've got) is badder than Bad Santa. It's pretty good for shock value, a mind blower.

Indeed! I'm normally not a fan of obscenities however it was just art the way they used them in that film along with the way John Ritter played the part of someone that has difficulty repeating/hearing them!

RIP John Ritter & Bernie Mac. Two comedian greats surely missed. :'(
