Best quickest shot camera, small...

I currently have a Canon S410 Camera. It has good quality, however, it takes soooo long to take pictures after depression of the button. what is a good camera that is the size of the s410 or smaller, with the same picture quality, and takes quicker shots? Also, if it takes CF media that would be a plus....

If small is what you're looking for, go with the Canon SD300 or SD400. They take SD cards though, but they are sweeeeeeeet.

I'm looking for one for my gf right now actually. She saw mine and now she wants it.

Canon Digital Elph 7MP DAMN quick. my friend has one... its small and does 60 fps in movie mode. the LCD is absolutely superb. Its fast too.

casio exilim card s100 is pretty awesome. if you ahve the money, i think you should go for a high end sony, though.

pre focus as in holding the button halfway down? i have done this but i was on vacation and wanted to take a lot of quick shots but misssed the moment. i'll look into the 7mp elph or the 7mp sony. perhaps the casio also...thanks guys.

try sd20, from turn on to first shot is less than 2 seconds. if that's what you are looking for. awesome camera to say the least.
