Best PSU for $50 or less?

Was looking at Thermaltake Silent PurePower 420W, but I realize the brand name is more important than raw wattage. I'd like to hear your opinion about it.

TTGI (I believe Superflower is their other name) makes a pretty good speed adjustable power supply.

One can pick them up at directron.

GC reminded me of the Silverstone. They are made by Enhance and should be decent. the 400W unit is just under $50.

If they carry the same specs as an Enhance of the same wattage rating, then yes. Enhance are excellent PSUs, they just seem to be getting sparse lately (or maybe just under their own name?)

Thanks for the suggestions, but I was hoping it would be a bit more unanimous than that. 😛 Now I'm not sure what all to look at. How good are those other sites that sell them for cheap? I'm pretty careful about where I buy from, and I like to go with places like New Egg and eXcaliberPC.com.

Can't go wrong with the Fortron/Sparkle line, particularly their first line which carries the FSPXXX model numbers. Antec, Enermax and Heroichi(Compucase) are good stuff as well.

Even though they may be improving, the whole Tt line has never impressed me- more fluff than substance, marketing vs technical quality...
